Synopsis
A team of scriptwriters—three women and two men—are commissioned to write the scripts for a future television series entitled The Frontiers of Fear. In order to concentrate on their task, they agree to stay in an isolated hotel in A Fonsagrada, the mountainous region of Lugo. Their wintry refuge is inhabited by the couple who run it and three other guests.
On their third day there, it begins to snow. The storm threatens to go on for quite some time and disrupts the communications and electricity so they are isolated from the world. As they work on the stories for the series, they discover that nobody in the hostel is who they seem to be and an unstoppable fear begins to filter into their lives.
La nieve interminable is a novel with a mystery as its central theme. It explores the basic fears that have accompanied mankind since the beginning of time and others caused by the global disorder of the 21st century.
